Where Can I Try a Soling? UK Fleets

If you are interested in trying a Soling, Soling owners are very welcoming and can arrange for you to experience sailing one.  All you have to do is contact the Secretary of the British Soling Association (secrtetary@solings.co.uk) or contact the Soling fleet nearest to you directly.

If you can, it is certainly a good idea to get experience sailing a Soling before thinking of buying one so as to make sure it is the boat for you.  Because everything on a Soling is adjustable on the go, Solings are quite technical boats to sail. While they take very little breeze to  get them going they are very powerful and need proper handling in a fresh breeze or more.

You do not necessarily have to be thinking of buying a Soling to make an approach because most fleets are continuously looking for at least one or two more crew members.

There are Soling fleets based at the locations below. To make contact go to our UK Soling Fleets page
